Gastrocnemius and Soleus Exercise with "MASSAGE GUN"

In this topic we're going to do vibration or percussive release techniques with my "MUSCLE MASSAGE GUN" . I'm going to have my friend Melissa come out, she's going to help me demonstrate. Now if I'm doing gastrocnemius and soleus release as I am in this today's topic, we're going to assume that I already did an assessment, Melissa was complaining about some plantar fasciitis. So we did our overhead squat assessment, she had excessive forward lean, and then I wanted some way to be able to assess improvement so I did a little goniometry, and she actually has a restriction in dorsiflexion. These are great reasons to use a little bit of vibration release. Now the vibration release techniques do work a little different than like let's say foam rolling or our static manual release techniques. Rather than going for deep trigger points and staying in one place we're going to use a slightly different protocol here. Now, Melissa's body position, sin...

Spine Mobilization With the "MASSAGE GUN"

In this topic, we'll cover that how you can get your Spin Mobilization with this " MUSCLES MASSAGE GUN" . So it's not a stretch, or at least a large stretch to think well if this oscillates, and joint mobilizations are oscillations, maybe this could help us out. According to One of Proven Scenario, I've used it a few times with clients and it seems to be having a positive benefit. Now I'm not saying this is a replacement for manual mobilizations, but it is an alternative that might help save our hands a little bit. So let's start with the sacroiliac joint, how would we make this happen. So I'm going to find his PSIS, and I know what I want to do is oscillate the sacrum on his ilium, that is what a sacroiliac joint mobilization is, at least a PA joint mobilization. I'm going to need a towel to throw over the top of his sacrum because this thing over bone hurts a little bit, but I do need to apply pressure to that bone to get it to oscill...
